  • Enhanced surveillance for dengue, chikungunya, and Zika began on May 1 and will continue through November 30, the active season for the tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus) in mainland France

  • Resurgence of imported dengue cases in mainland France since 2023, with more than 60% returning from the French West Indies, where an epidemic has been ongoing since mid-2023

  • In Île-de-France: 28 confirmed cases of imported dengue investigated in 2024 versus 13 during the same period in 2023

Measles

  • Resurgence of measles cases in Île-de-France linked to widespread circulation of the virus in Eastern Europe

Pneumonia

  • Decrease in emergency care visits, but levels remain higher than in previous years
