Key Points

COVID-19

  • Viral circulation was declining across all age groups. Recombinant strains remained the most prevalent.

  • Emergency room visits remained stable, as did SOS Médecins calls.

  • Hospitalizations for or related to COVID-19 continued to decline. Admissions to intensive care and hospital deaths related to COVID-19 remained stable.

  • Reports and cases in long-term care facilities were declining (staff and residents).

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • Increase in indicators at SOS Médecins; stabilization of indicators for the Sentinelles network.

  • Increase in visits and visits followed by hospitalization for acute gastroenteritis in hospital emergency departments.

  • Moderate activity levels in hospital emergency departments and low levels at SOS Médecins.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Decrease in surveillance indicators at SOS Médecins and stabilization of indicators for the Sentinelles network and in hospital emergency departments for all ages.

  • 5th week of the post-epidemic phase in the Île-de-France region.
