Flu-like Illnesses and Acute Respiratory Infections

Acute Gastroenteritis (AGE)

  • Increase in emergency department visits and visits followed by hospitalization for AGE across all age groups; 81% of AGE-related emergency department visits involved children under 15, and 61% involved children under 5.

  • Stabilization in the number of AGE-related visits at SOS Médecins among those over 15 and an increase among children under 15.

  • Stabilization of the incidence rate for acute diarrhea consultations among sentinel physicians.

  • In S12, activity in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins for acute diarrhea remained at a high level and exceeded the trends from 2024 during the same period of the year. The 2025 rates are the highest for the 2022–2025 period.
