Avicenne Hospital: How to Adapt to Migrant Patients.

Avicenne Hospital in Bobigny treats many migrants; professionals with immigrant backgrounds and/or who are migrants themselves have been working there for a long time. Avicenne is the French partner in a European program designed to better support migrants by facilitating their access to healthcare and social protection services. Training staff to foster mutual understanding and respect between patients and caregivers, and improving interpretation services, are key areas of focus.
