Key Points

  • Continued increase in vaccination uptake among infants and children subject to the expanded meningococcal C vaccination requirement:

    • 89.7% of children in the 2021 cohort aged 8 months received a first dose (+3.5 percentage points in 2021 compared to 2019)

    • 92.7% of children in the 2020 cohort aged 21 months received the booster dose (+4.6 percentage points compared to 2018)

  • Stabilization of progress for other valences among children in the 2020 cohort:

    • 92.9% received a third dose of the hexavalent vaccine at 21 months (+0.4 percentage points compared to 2018)

    • 93.0% received a third dose of the pneumococcal vaccine at 21 months (+0.4 percentage points compared to 2018)

  • Vaccination coverage among children born before the law took effect:

    • +4.3 percentage points for the first dose of the HPV vaccine among 15-year-old girls born in 2006 (52.4%)

    • Increase in catch-up vaccination coverage against meningococcal C across all age groups

  • Influenza vaccination coverage in 2021–2022 among people aged 65 and older:

    • 6.6-point increase compared to the 2019-2020 season

    • Decrease of 1.8 percentage points compared to the 2020-2021 season
