Acute respiratory infections

  • Activity levels in emergency departments, at SOS Médecins, and in private practice (Sentinelles-IQVIA network) are consistent with previous seasons.

  • Circulation of the main seasonal viruses with epidemic potential (influenza and SARS-CoV-2) remains low; circulation of RSV has increased slightly since week 44.

Bronchiolitis

  • Activity is on the rise in emergency departments but decreasing at SOS Médecins (incomplete data for the SOS Médecins associations in Lille and Roubaix-Tourcoing for week 45-2024).

  • The detection rate of RSV among children under 2 years of age is increasing.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Activity is low and stable in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.

COVID-19

  • Activity is decreasing in emergency departments and stable at SOS Médecins.
