  • Cayenne Island (Rémire, Cayenne, Matoury): 254 cases, 28% of which were caused by P. falciparum

  • Kourou, Macouria, Sinna-mary, Montsinnery, Ira-coubo: 64 cases, 27% of which were caused by P. falciparum

  • Western French Guiana (Saint Laurent, Awala, Mana): 29 cases, 59% of which were caused by P. falciparum

  • Eastern French Guiana (Roura, Régina, Cacao): 103 cases, 31% of which were caused by P. falciparum

Interior

  • Saul: 10 cases, 60% caused by P. falciparum

Rivers

  • Oyapock (Camopi, Saint-Georges, Trois-Sauts, Ouanary): 405 cases, 24% of which were due to P. falciparum

  • Maroni (Apatou, Grand Santi, Maripasoula, Papaïchton, Antecum Pata): 273 cases, 53% of which were caused by P. falciparum
