Bronchiolitis

  • In emergency departments, visits for bronchiolitis continue to decline. They accounted for 10.4% of all visits in week 03-2026, compared to 14.4% of visits in week 02-2026. Furthermore, in week 03, SOS Médecins consultations for bronchiolitis accounted for 6.3% of all consultations for this age group.

Influenza and Influenza-Like Illnesses

  • Flu-related activity in emergency departments remained stable in week 03-2026 and remained at a high level (3.7% of all emergency department visits). In SOS Médecins clinics, flu-related activity was also stable, accounting for 17.8% of all consultations in week 03.

COVID-19

  • Both in hospitals and in community settings, the number of patients seeking care for suspected COVID-19 fluctuates at low levels (<1% of total activity).

Acute Gastroenteritis

  • Emergency department visits and SOS Médecins consultations are fluctuating at levels typical for the season.
