Key Points

COVID-19

  • The incidence rate continues to decline in week 34 of 2022 (189 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to 208 in week 33 of 2022).

  • This decrease applies to all age groups. The highest incidence rates are observed among those aged 30–39 and 50–59 (238 cases and 221 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively).

  • The positivity rate (18 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) is declining in week 34 of 2022. It is declining across all age groups.

  • The testing rate (1,030 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) is increasing in all age groups except among 10- to 19-year-olds.

Monkeypox

  • As of August 29, 2022, 90 confirmed cases were reported in the Grand-Est region, representing less than 3% of all confirmed cases.
