COVID-19

  • In week 35, the incidence rate increased compared to the consolidated rate for the holiday in week 34.

  • SOS Médecins: In week 35, indicators of healthcare utilization for suspected COVID-19 were down for SOS Médecins, with a 2.1% activity rate, or 23 cases (3.1% in week 34, or 37 cases).

  • Oscour®: In week 35, indicators of healthcare utilization for suspected COVID-19 remained stable for hospital emergency departments, with a 0.5% activity rate, or 63 visits (0.6% in week 34, 67 visits).

Other regional surveillance

  • Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea:

    • SOS Médecins: low, stable activity

    • Hospital emergency departments: moderate activity, slightly down

  • Chickenpox: activity stable at SOS Médecins and increasing in hospital emergency departments

  • Allergies: activity decreasing at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments

  • Asthma (ages 2–14): activity stable at SOS Médecins and on the rise in hospital emergency departments

  • Heat-related illnesses: activity down at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency rooms
