Key Points

COVID-19

  • Slight increase in the incidence rate (IR), testing rate (TR), and slight decrease in the positivity rate (PR). The regional (raw) IR rose from 350 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 37 to 368 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 38. The IR is rising in the Côtes d'Armor. Increase in the prevalence of general care hospitalizations and decrease in critical care hospitalizations and calls to SOS Médecins. Use of hospital emergency departments remains stable.

Bronchiolitis

  • Start of surveillance for the 2022-2023 season. Non-epidemic activity, increase in monitored indicators.

Asthma

  • Decrease in emergency department visits following the peak observed at the start of the school year, as is typical for this time of year.
