Bronchiolitis

Influenza

  • Influenza activity (all ages) among SOS Médecins and in emergency departments remains stable and low.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Although activity is low, activity (all ages) at SOS Médecins clinics is higher than the values observed during the 2022-2023 season.

  • Activity (all ages) in emergency departments over the past few weeks remains below the levels observed during the previous season and the 2021-2022 season.

COVID-19

  • The rate of confirmed cases in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is decreasing, falling from 44.4 in Week 42 to 43.3 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 43.

  • The percentage of cases involving suspected COVID-19 among SOS Médecins associations remains stable (3.77% vs. 3.75% in Week 1). The rate of emergency department visits is relatively stable and remains low (1.70% vs. 1.57% in Week 1).

  • The proportion of hospitalizations following an emergency department visit has stabilized (50.2% vs. 51.2% in Week 1) and primarily involves those aged 65 and older (87.2%).

Mortality

  • No excess mortality from all causes and across all age groups was observed in week 42 in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
