Chikungunya, dengue, Zika
Surveillance for cases of chikungunya, dengue, and Zika began on May 1, 2023: a total of 168 imported dengue cases—mostly from Martinique and Guadeloupe—and 9 imported chikungunya cases were identified in the region. Two cases of locally acquired dengue were detected in the Drôme department in late September 2023.
COVID-19
In week 42 (October 16–22, 2023), SARS-CoV-2 circulation is declining and remains at a very moderate level in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Other indicators of healthcare utilization (emergency room visits, SOS Médecins calls for suspected COVID-19) are also trending downward.
Flu
Emergency room visits and SOS Médecins calls for flu-like symptoms are at low levels expected for the season.
