"In our local response to the crisis, we wanted to involve residents" [Interview]
Given its social impact, the COVID-19 pandemic has spurred public health initiatives that go beyond a purely medical approach. To listen to its residents, the City of Grenoble established a Covid Citizens’ Committee, bringing together associations, healthcare users, and community representatives. They expressed their needs—particularly regarding vaccination information—and shared their concerns about the breakdown of social ties, domestic violence, and food insecurity among some of their fellow citizens.
