Epidemiological Situation of Dengue Fever in Saint-Barthélemy. Update as of March 11, 2013.
Situation Analysis
No dengue outbreaks have been identified recently in Saint Barthélemy, but epidemiological indicators show that expected maximum values were repeatedly exceeded during the month of February. Furthermore, the presence of the DENV-4 serotype, which has not circulated in the territory for several years, increases the risk of an epidemic. All of these factors lead to the conclusion that the current epidemiological situation regarding dengue corresponds to the vigilance phase of the Psage.
