In Guadeloupe, the technical committee monitoring dengue met on Thursday, December 8, 2022, and determined that the epidemiological situation, according to the PSAGE dengue guidelines, corresponds to Phase 2, Level 1: Isolated outbreaks or outbreaks with no epidemiological link(s). The two epidemic outbreaks identified in the municipality of Saint-François (La Coulée and Belle Allée) are still active. The DENV-2 serotype has been detected. In Martinique, Saint Martin, and Saint Barthélemy, the situation is calm. Various factors (rainy season, travel flows, major events) can quickly lead to a deterioration of the epidemiological situation.
