COVID-19 in the Caribbean. Update as of June 27, 2024.

Key Points

  • In Guadeloupe and Martinique, city and hospital-based epidemiological surveillance indicators for COVID-19 have been rising for the past four weeks. This increase is also being observed, to a lesser extent, in Saint Barthélemy. In Saint Martin, only the number of medical consultations has seen a slight increase during this period.

  • With school holidays approaching, it seems necessary to reinforce adherence to preventive measures (wearing a mask, frequent handwashing, etc.), particularly when experiencing respiratory symptoms (cough, runny nose, etc.) or a fever.
