2008 Health and Nutrition Barometer
Promoting healthy eating and physical activity requires a clear understanding of and monitoring of changes in the nutritional attitudes and behaviors of the French population. This third wave of the Health and Nutrition Barometer was conducted among a sample of 4,714 people aged 12 to 75. The analysis incorporated social health inequalities, with a focus on certain particularly vulnerable populations, such as those experiencing food insecurity. Seven regions are also the subject of a specific interregional analysis. This publication is intended for all those involved in the field of nutrition: prevention specialists, health and social services professionals, researchers, as well as policymakers responsible for implementing public policies on diet and physical activity.
