Nutri-Score: a logo indicating a product's nutritional quality.

In France, since October 31, 2017, an interministerial decree has recommended the use of the Nutri-Score logo to provide simplified nutritional information on the front of food and beverage packaging. Based on the work of Professor Hercberg’s team, Nutri-Score is a trademark of Santé publique France. It makes it easier to compare products by ranking them on a five-color scale associated with letters, from A (dark green) for products of the highest nutritional quality to E (dark orange) for those of the lowest quality. By March 2018, 52 brands had already committed to displaying this logo on all their products. They have 24 months to implement the system on their packaging.
