The epidemiological situation regarding musculoskeletal disorders: different definitions and methods, but the same conclusion.

The article presents the definitions used by several European countries for the term "MSDs" (musculoskeletal disorders). It compares surveys conducted in Europe on these conditions affecting workers who perform repetitive tasks. The cost of MSDs is discussed. Risk factors are analyzed.
