New developments in asthma patient education in Marseille.

Asthma causes 2,000 deaths per year in France, some of which could be prevented through more appropriate care and patient education. Initial results show improved adherence (the percentage of compliant patients rose from 7% to 65%) and a reduction in hospitalizations (which fell from 74% to 7%).
