Technical details on the compilation of the Acta plant health indexes
The purpose of this guide is to present the technical and methodological data that led to the compilation of information from the Acta phytosanitary indexes. These annual publications, which have been published since 1961, contain data on the active ingredients in plant protection products used in France. The compilation of data from all these indexes was carried out by the Department of Occupational Health (DST) of the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) in collaboration with the Joint Research Unit for Epidemiology and Surveillance in Transport, Work, and the Environment (Umrestte) at the University of Lyon and the Association for Technical Coordination in Agriculture (Acta). This document presents the methodology used to create this database and the various uses made possible by making this information publicly available.
