Jean-Marie Lacau has a daughter with a severe intellectual disability. A former executive in the private sector, at age 40 he gave it all up to found the organization Réseau-Lucioles. This organization conducts research projects aimed at compiling knowledge and experiences related to severe intellectual disabilities to support parents and professionals. It disseminates this information through articles, books, films, technical workshops, training sessions, tools, and practical recommendations.
