Promoting health in schools: the expertise of specialized organizations.

The effectiveness of partnerships between school stakeholders and health education stakeholders can be measured by their adherence to two principles: the integration of health education methodologists’ interventions into a framework aimed at transferring competencies (in the form of knowledge, skills, and attitudes) to education professionals; the positioning of the health educator as a “third party” and health education activities as a “third space” within school settings.
