Newborn Behavioral Observation at Different Stages of the Perinatal Journey
The Newborn Behavioral Observation (NBO) is a multidisciplinary intervention that facilitates the transition from hospital to community care. It is established as a model based on principles common to child- and family-centered developmental care programs, namely relationship-building, observation, and individualized care. By incorporating these principles, the NBO demonstrates that it is possible to innovate in prevention and support methods, ensuring a positive impact on families.
