Media Literacy: A True Bulwark

Banning cell phones at school isn’t enough. To protect the five million middle and high school students from the pitfalls of the digital world, media and information literacy is essential. When integrated into the school curriculum, it teaches students to verify facts, use a variety of sources, and develop critical thinking skills. The results speak for themselves: young people who have benefited from this education are less vulnerable to misinformation.
