The Living Library: A Tool for Combating Stigma in Mental Health.

Originating in Denmark and recently introduced in France, the discussion forum known as the “Living Library” allows people living with mental health conditions to share their personal stories and experiences with an audience eager to learn more about the issue. Scientific literature shows that the best way to combat stigma is to bring those affected into direct contact with the rest of the population. Living Libraries are based on this exchange.
