The InVS's process for monitoring, alerting, and responding to emergency situations.

Emergencies are central to the mission of the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS). To detect incidents and support regional health agencies in organizing responses as close as possible to the communities they serve, the InVS works with its network of regional health surveillance centers (Cire) on the ground, in collaboration with local experts and scientific networks.
