Contrary to popular belief, students are not heavy users of cannabis and other psychoactive substances, as shown by the analyses in the INPES Health Barometer. The same is true for mental health, as students do not experience significantly higher rates of depression or suicidal thoughts than working adults. However, this general picture masks significant disparities.
