Bringing together different forms of knowledge in a dialogue

Inequalities in access to knowledge are now widely addressed, particularly by health promotion stakeholders. However, inequalities in access to the production of knowledge receive far less attention. Yet knowledge, when established solely by scientists according to scientific standards, does not fully reflect reality or people’s needs. Cognitive justice questions the ways in which knowledge is produced, asserting that no single system of knowledge should take precedence over another.
