Being Attentive, Adaptable, and Responsive to Best Guide Patients at Risk of Suicide [Interview].

The VigilanS program is available to anyone who has attempted suicide. The goal is to maintain contact—by phone or mail—and to provide the most appropriate follow-up care if necessary. Telephone counseling plays a major role in this support. A team specializing in relapse prevention monitors the situation and coordinates with primary care physicians and other involved professionals. Over time, more and more professionals struggling to handle patients at risk of suicide are turning to VigilanS. Testimonials from professionals involved in the program in the Jura region.
