Heat-related deaths in healthcare facilities in France: August 8–19, 2003. Health impact of the August 2003 heat wave: initial findings and further research needed

This article presents the survey conducted in healthcare facilities that treated cases of heatstroke. During a heat wave, they should be protected from exposure to high temperatures to prevent heatstroke, which can rapidly progress to death.
