Occupational physicians, along with general practitioners, are on the front lines of alcohol prevention in the workplace. Early detection and intervention by these professionals have proven effective, as this approach helps people reduce their alcohol consumption. However, there is still a need for widespread training of professionals—primarily occupational physicians and nurses—to ensure that prevention efforts are effective.
