Summary

  • Overall activity at healthcare facilities has increased by 20% among children, remained stable among adults under 75, and decreased among those over 75.

  • Visits for asthma have risen sharply among children under 2–14 years old (a doubling of the number of visits in one week), but remain stable in other age groups. This increase is observed in all regions, most notably in the North, East, South, and Paris regions. The numbers are very close to expected values for this back-to-school period.

  • Among children under 15, visits for upper respiratory tract infections and gastroenteritis are rising sharply, within expected ranges.
