Key Points

  • In Week 06 (February 3–9, 2025), activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable among children under 2 and adults and decreased among children aged 2 to 14 (-7%, or -2,487 visits) compared to the previous week.

  • After several weeks of increases, cases of influenza/flu-like illness are decreasing across all age groups (-17%, or 4,344 fewer cases compared to the previous week). They account for 24% of cases among children (a percentage that remains higher than that of the past three years) and 21% among adults.

  • Consultations for other respiratory conditions are stabilizing (upper respiratory tract diseases, acute bronchitis, asthma attacks, suspected COVID-19) or are decreasing (pneumonia and bronchiolitis) compared to the previous week across all age groups, with the exception of an increase among those over 75 for upper respiratory tract conditions (+12%, or +31 cases).

  • Among the other indicators monitored, there was an increase in cases among children and adults for vomiting (+20%, or +111 cases), gastroenteritis (+7%, or +417 visits), and infectious conjunctivitis (+13%, or +155 visits), and among adults only for trauma (+11%, or +188 visits), urinary tract infections (+14%, or +182 visits), and dental/ENT conditions (+11%, or +129 visits).
