Attitudes and barriers to the use of emergency contraception.
In France, emergency contraception is often misunderstood and used improperly. Misinformation continues to circulate about these pills, which are incorrectly referred to as "morning-after pills." And some healthcare professionals discourage their use. A sociologist conducted a survey of sixty-four women aged 15 to 25. She highlights the misconceptions surrounding emergency contraception as well as young women’s lack of awareness of the resources available to obtain this type of contraception for free. Information and education must be prioritized.
