  • As of April 8, 2018, 1,605 cases reported since November 6, 2017 (+181 cases since the last weekly bulletin)

  • More than 1,527 cases (95%) reported since January 1, 2018

  • 72 departments have reported cases, a number that has risen since the last bulletin

  • 51% of cases (n=819) have been reported in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the only region experiencing an epidemic

  • Highest incidence among children under 1 year of age: 15.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants

  • 20% of reported cases were hospitalized

  • 87% of measles cases occurred in unvaccinated or inadequately vaccinated individuals
