Dengue: two imported cases have been identified since the start of the season in Corsica. For your information, episodes of local transmission have been identified in Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Chikungunya: For your information, one locally transmitted case was identified in Île-de-France in July.
West Nile: For your information, active viral circulation in the Var region (4 human cases and 1 equine case).
Extreme heat, heat wave
Both departments have been under an orange alert since Saturday, August 10. This alert level remains in effect.
Pollen
The projected health impact of pollen across the entire region is moderate, due to a low risk associated with three different types of pollen: grasses, plantains, and nettles (source: RNSA).
