COVID-19

Significant increase in testing and rise in hospitalizations

  • Testing rates have risen sharply over the past two weeks.

  • Regional positivity rate slightly down and in most departments.

  • Incidence rates are down in Bouches-du-Rhône and Vaucluse, but up in other departments.

  • Slight increase in emergency department activity and slight decrease in SOS Médecins consultations for suspected COVID.

  • Decrease in the number of hospitalized deaths, which remains at a high level.

  • Increase in the number of patients hospitalized in intensive care (and other critical care units) and in general wards (active cases).

  • Decrease in the number of reports, the number of clusters, and mortality in social and medico-social establishments (ESMS).

  • Decrease in the number of reported clusters outside ESMS.

Monitoring of winter outbreaks

  • Bronchiolitis: stable trend

  • Influenza: stable trend

  • Gastroenteritis: low activity
