COVID-19

The regional incidence rate, at 155 per 100,000 inhabitants, shows an increase (+10%). It remains above the alert threshold of 50 per 100,000 inhabitants for both departments. The testing rate has decreased very slightly (4,674 per 100,000 inhabitants, or -4%). The positivity rate is rising (3.5% vs. 3.0% in Week 8). In Southern Corsica, the total number of active cases across all departments is increasing slightly, with five people hospitalized in intensive care or continuous care units. In Northern Corsica, a decrease in the total number of active cases across all departments, coupled with stabilization in intensive care or continuous care units, is observed.
