Stabilization or decline in epidemic monitoring indicators:
Regional incidence rate stable;
regional testing rate rising sharply;
Regional positivity rate decreasing sharply;
Low COVID-19-related activity at the SOS Médecins association;
Low COVID-19-related activity in emergency departments;
Hospitalizations across all departments are decreasing;
no new clusters in S51.
The incidence rate, at 24 per 100,000 residents regionally, remains below the alert threshold of 50 per 100,000 residents in both departments on the island. The testing rate is rising sharply, reaching 3,989 per 100,000 inhabitants. The positivity rate (0.6%) is falling sharply, amid testing ahead of the year-end holidays, and remains below the 5% vigilance threshold.
At the same time, the number of people hospitalized across all departments continues to decline.
