Laboratories: a total of 15,990 positive test results as of May 10, 2020, including 585 in week 19 (W19) and 787 in week 18 (W18).
Sentinelles Network: incidence of acute respiratory infections of 13 per 100,000 inhabitants in W19 (41 in W18).
SOS-Médecins: downward trend in COVID-19-related visits; 5% of consultations were COVID-19-related in W19.
Emergency departments: downward trend in COVID-19 visits; 2% of visits were COVID-19-related in W19.
Facilities caring for dependent elderly individuals: 2,772 cases among residents and 453 deaths as of May 12. The number of COVID-19 cases reported since the last epidemiological update is low.
Hospitalized cases: downward trend in hospitalizations and ICU admissions for COVID-19 patients; 1,276 hospitalized cases as of May 12, including 156 in the ICU; 804 hospitalized patients have died since the start of the epidemic.
Sentinel intensive care units: 84% of cases had at least one risk factor as of May 12; invasive ventilation was required for 69% of cases.
All-cause mortality: significant increase in mortality in week 17 in the Bouches-du-Rhône department.
