Over the past week in the region:

• Confirmation of the flu outbreak in the region, with a later onset compared to other regions in France, a predominance of influenza A virus isolates,

• a very high number of emergency department visits by people aged 75 and older in most facilities,

• a slight increase in the number of deaths among people aged 85 and older compared to the expected number for the season,

• a high number of clusters of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in facilities housing the elderly, with an increase over the past month in the number of outbreaks meeting severity criteria,

• a moderate gastroenteritis outbreak persists, with a predominance of rotavirus isolates.
