Epidemiological Situation

A surge in consultations for conjunctivitis has been observed among general practitioners on the island and in emergency departments. This increase is typically seen in Réunion during the rainy season. At the same time, the Ministry of Health of Mauritius has also reported a rise in cases of conjunctivitis in Mauritian public hospitals.As the school year begins, the situation will be closely monitored over the coming weeks.
