Data on activity in the island’s emergency departments, combined with available virological data, indicate that a bronchiolitis outbreak is underway, with isolation of RSV. A sharp increase in Week 6 of 2018 compared to previous weeks has been observed. In light of this outbreak, it is important to remind the public of the appropriate preventive measures.
