Epidemiological Situation

The flu epidemic that began in June in Réunion has been declining since the start of the school holidays, with a decrease in visits for flu-like symptoms at primary care clinics and emergency rooms. There has also been a decline in viral circulation, with three viruses still circulating simultaneously (A(H1N1)pdm09, non-H1N1 A, and B). Since the beginning of June, 14 people who developed severe forms of influenza have been admitted to intensive care.
