COVID-19

• Since the implementation of néo-sidep and changes in testing activity, we have seen a significant increase in the positivity rate (PR). The PR for COVID-19 rose from 9% to 30% between Week 43 and Week 47. This increase affects all age groups.

• Regarding emergency department visits, 50 visits were recorded in Week 47 compared to 29 in Week 46. Hospitalizations following emergency department visits also increased, with 21 hospitalizations in Week 47 versus 14 in Week 46. These are levels not seen since early July 2023.
