Key Points

  • Dengue transmission continues at a higher level than that observed in 2018 during the same period. In week 46, 11 cases were reported (unconsolidated data) and 10 cases in week 45, bringing the total to 18,086 confirmed cases since the beginning of the year;

  • The municipalities of St. Paul, St. Pierre, St. Leu, and St. Louis account for most of the cases among the 9 municipalities reporting cases in weeks 45 and 46

  • The co-circulation of the two serotypes, DENV1 and DENV2, continues across the entire island, and cases of secondary dengue have been identified.
