  • Since Week 24, the number of clinically suggestive cases has stabilized (around 1,200 cases per week)

  • The number of confirmed cases is declining

  • The proportion of hospitalized cases remains slightly higher than in 2019

  • The western and southern parts of the island are the hardest hit, but the spread of cases remains very widespread

  • Nearly all of the island’s municipalities (23 out of 24) remain affected by viral circulation

  • Severe, delayed ophthalmological manifestations are reported long after the onset of dengue symptoms

  • The DENV1 serotype remains the overwhelming majority. DENV2 is now detected sporadically and ubiquitously, while DENV3 is still detected in the east, north, and west

  • In 2020, 19 deaths were classified as dengue-related
