Epidemiological Situation

From November 19 to December 2, 11 probable or biologically confirmed cases of dengue (including 3 in S47 and 8 in S48) were reported based on the date of symptom onset: - 4 cases in Saint André - 3 cases in Rivière Saint Louis and 2 in Saint Louis - 1 case each in La Possession and Saint Leu

Since the beginning of 2018, 6,689 biologically confirmed or probable cases of dengue (including 11 imported cases)

917 serotyping tests performed among locally acquired cases; only serotype 2 was detected

A decline in activity was observed among all healthcare professionals following social protests
